Lokrio is the customer-facing brand of Fives Life International — a Nepal-based travel desk that began in 2007 with a simple goal: make intercity travel easier for Nepali families, students, and visitors. What started as a neighbourhood ticketing counter in Kathmandu has grown into a multi-service desk covering buses, hotels, holiday packages, and cab rentals — with the same promise: honest pricing, verified operators, and a human team you can reach by phone.
In 2007, we opened a small travel counter in Kathmandu at a time when most intercity bus tickets were bought in person, with long queues and little price transparency. Families travelling to Pokhara for holidays, students heading to Biratnagar for college, and pilgrims going to Lumbini all needed the same thing: a seat confirmed, a fair price, and someone to call if the bus was late.
That counter became Lokrio — the brand name behind Fives Life International Pvt. Ltd.. Over 19 years we grew from a single-route desk into a full travel service covering buses, hotels, holiday packages, and private cabs. What did not change is how we work: we partner with registered operators, we answer the phone, and we stand behind every booking reference we issue.
Today our team in Balaju, Kathmandu coordinates hundreds of routes across Nepal. Foreign visitors use us for airport transfers and custom itineraries; local travellers use us for daily intercity commutes and seasonal peak bookings.
